Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the operation of a local Quality Assurance team for Fast-Spices integrated product sets. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly visible, well-respected engineering group developing state of the art technology. Exercise knowledge and experience to design/accomplish advanced appropriate QA practices, methodologies, and procedures for continuous efficiency enhancement. Responsible for streamlined quality assurance flow within Synopsys Fast-spice Product Group on all platforms, such as NT, 64 bit/32bit Sun, Linux, IBM. Work closely with subordinates, supervisors, and peer engineering teams. As a quality advocate in a cross-functional group , provide sign-off to ensures the software quality goals are met. Coordinate and provides guidance to subordinates to achieve and/or resolve technical problems for high productivity.

Job Requirements:

+ BS (minimum) or MS (preferred) in EE, Computer Engineering or CS+ A minimum of 3 years of management experience on quality assurance or development of complex software projects. Good knowledge of QA practices, methodologies, and procedures.+ Prior experience with CAD tools, spice-like tools is a plus.+ Proficient in UNIX scripting languages (including shell, perl, tcl/tk,) C/C++ coding, data structure, and algorithms.+ Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications, as well as presentation skills. + Demonstrated teamwork and ability to lead projects involving multiple internal engineering groups.+ It is essential that the individual is able to demonstrate strong analysis and problem solving skills. + Understanding of analog/digital design concepts.+ Experience with purify, PureCov, coverity or other quality tools is a plus.
